In Hong Kong, Kelly and Scott search for a double agent in order to arrange a trade for a captured American pilot. Their search is complicated by the presence of the pilot's wife who feels the government is not doing enough to effect his return. The story is told in flashbacks while Kelly tries to figure out how to get reimbursed for his watch which was destroyed during this assignment. While trying to decide how to find the double agent in a city of a few million people: Kelly: On the other hand, there's always the Yankee dollar. It'll buy much bread and secrets. Has been know to buy a man's hiding place right out from under 'em. Scott: Ah, but the trouble is, the seller of the secret will turn and sell your secret to the guy whose secret he sold when he sold the secret after he sold 'em. |
