The murder of a motorcycle cop during a traffic stop is witnessed by a young black man named Scarecrow. The Knights track him down and put him into a safe house for his own protection. A young social worker clashes with Joe and Levon over how they are handling the young man. When Scarecrow calls someone and then flees the safe house, the boys put him in a jail cell for added protection, but he ends up dead. As they continue to investigate the case, without their witness, they discover that Scarecrow was not the witness after all. The social worker was. She and the young man were in a parked car opposite the shooting, and it was she who saw the actual killing. In the end, she identifies the killer. |
