Acting on a tip from Chicken, the Knights raid a warehouse owned by a local crime figure by the name of Charlie Beaupre, hoping to find him there. He is not there, but they do find a large amount of cash hidden in boxes under bottles of "Cajun Spice." To ease their disappointment, Joe and Levon decide to go see Beaupre at his restaurant. As they are leaving the restaurant, Joe sees an attrative young woman sitting alone and he decides to stay and talk to her. They seem to hit it off and he learns that her name is Angie Duval and she just happens to be Beaupre's niece. An attempt is made on Chicken's life but the car bomb kills a young man who works for him instead. Chicken feels responsible and wants to find the person resposible. This puts him at odds with Joe and Levon when they insist that Chicken needs protection because they suspect that Beaupre is trying to kill him. When Chicken's informant is killed, the Knights are sure that Charlie Beaupre is the man they are after. When another attempt is made on Chicken's life, he decides to take matters into his own hands. He confronts Beaupre, who insists that he did not have the bomb placed in Chicken's car. As they talk, both Beaupre and Chicken realize that someone has been trying to set up Beaupre and Beaupre decides it is his friend trying to take over the business. Joe and Levon come to the same comclusion after talking to Angie and they set out to find Beaupre and his friend before Chicken does. They are watching a warehouse when they see Beaupre's car. When they see Chicken with Beaupre, they realize something is about to happen. When Beaupre accuses his friend of trying to set him up in order to steal his business, the friend kills Beaupre. Joe and Levon arrive, but Chicken has already taken care of Beaupre's friend. |
